Ten Hag Influenced My Decision To Join Man United –Martinez

  New Man United signing, Lisandro Martinez has disclosed that manager, Erik Ten Hag played a key role in influencing him to join the Red devils. Recall that the 24-year-old was unveiled at Manchester United on Wednesday as he reunited with Ten Hag and believes the Dutchman will bring a winning mentality to the club. The defender and the Dutch boss were together in Ajax from 2019-22, where they won two Eredivisie titles, a KNVB Cup and personally the versatile defender was named Ajax Player of the Year last season. “I was with him for three years at Ajax and I know his style of playing.   Bayern Munich Canadian defender Alphonso Davies has revealed that Chelsea are his Favourite club in the Premier League. Recall, Kingsley Coman who is Davies’ teammate at Bayern said in a similar interview disclosed that he was a fan of Bolton Wanderers growing up. And when it was the turn of Davies, 21, he mentioned the Blues. “If you had to support a team in the UK, who would it be?“ the interviewer asked. Nigeria Set To Host African Track Cycling Championship; Sports Minister Inspects Facilities

  Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory, Abuja is set to host the Fourth edition of the African Track Cycling Championship. Nigeria and 14 other countries are expected to participate in the Championship which will take place inside the Velodrome of the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja from Thursday 14th July – Sunday 17th July, 2022. Ahead of the Championship, the Honourable Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Mr. Sunday Dare alongside other top Ministry officials and the President of the Cycling Federation of Nigeria (CFN), Giandomenico Massari today visited the venue of the event. He welcomed them to the tournament, charging them to put up their best while also assuring them of a hitch-free competition.
